The Majak Mixtape - Albums Dropping like Leaves Mix

Oh autumn, how we always anticipate you greatly. It's that time of year to bust out the argyle print cardigans, fashionable sweaters, see films with actual artistic merit, and await a bevy of albums coming from a variety of genres all dropping onto the Billboard Charts like multi-colored leaves. So here are a list of artists/albums we are hotly anticipating this coming season.

First up is Chromeo, Business Casual, out on Sept. 14
We love Chromeo since they are a band that make music for hipsters to dance to, if hipsters danced in un-ironic ways.
Below, one of our favorite tunes from Chromeo, "Bonafied Lovin" off their album Fancy Footwork

Also coming out that day are albums from Of Montreal,

Nellie McKay (below her song "David" from her debut album Get Away from Me)

and the debut solo album of The Killers lead singer Brandon Flowers

Another album we are anticipating is the joint album Wake Up! from John Legend and the Roots, coming out on Sept. 21.

Now John Legend is sort of dull, we know. But that's usually when he's only on his lonesome. Paired with MSTRKRFT, Legend put out an amazing dancey tune in the form of "Heartbreaker."

Paired with The Roots, Legend and company seems to be verging on putting out a great piece of hip-hop soul.

October 12 may be our favorite day of music in the fall with the following acts putting out albums on this day:
Simian Mobile Disco (below featuring The Gossip's Beth Ditto in a song from their album Temporary Pleasure)

Belle and Sebastian (below a track from their album The Life Pursuit)

Badly Drawn Boy (below a track from his album The Hour of the Bewilderbeast)

Lastly, we list blipster rapper Kid Cudi's follow-up album  Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager, coming out Oct. 26. Below is a recently leaked track, "Mojo So Dope"

Remember, all album dates are subject to change so don't blame us when it doesn't hit iTunes the day we gave you.
