The Majak Mixtape - Rated R for the Remix: The Totally Necessary Sequel

Oh Wednesdays, how we hate you around these parts of the Majak Kingdom. Whether the week is going fast or slow, Wednesday always seems to be the most tedious time so we thought we'd liven it up with some hot remixes to keep you grooving in your cubicles.

Up first is master mash-up DJ Marc Johnce and his mash-up of Lily Allen's "Not Fair" and the Fred Falke remix of Grizzly Bear's "Two Weeks."

Lily Allen's album It's Not Me, It's You was not only our favorite mantra of 2009 but also our favorite album. The original version of "Not Fair" had a quirky spaghetti Western vibe to it that we enjoyed, but Marc Johnce breathes new life into the tune by aiming it for the dancefloor with hipster favorite band Grizzly Bear and their Fred Falke-manned remix of their tune "Two Weeks." Extra snaps to Marc Johnce for crafting such a perfectly retro mash-up video.

Bonus, a 1970s commercial for one of the worst brand of jeans ever, Toughskins:

Up next is a remix of Diana Vickers' tune "The Boy Who Murdered Love," now with an extra helping of Daft Punk's "One More Time."
The vocal doppleganger of indie darling Ellie Goulding, Diana Vickers is most definitely an acquired taste but a spoonful of Daft Punk helps the quirkiness go down.

Lastly, Leona Lewis and Kanye West mixed together in "Bleeding Love (I'll Be Stronger)" by DJ S.I.R.

We're pretty sure if Kanye tries to bum rush Taylor Swift again this year at the VMAs, love isn't exactly the thing he'll be bleeding.
